FAQs

What types of fire situations is the FireAttack™ Deluxe suitable for?

The FireAttack™ Deluxe is purpose-built for fighting bushfires, grassfires, and spot fires. It is ideal for use on farms, rural properties, and construction sites where fast response and mobility are essential. The unit features TTi’s LiquidLocker™ baffling system, which provides added stability during transport.

Can the unit be used for other liquids apart from water?

The FireAttack™ Deluxe is designed for use with water only. It should not be used with chemicals, fuels, or any other liquids, as these can damage the pump and tank and compromise safety. For applications such as spraying or washdown, please contact TTi for suitable alternative products.

How often should I perform maintenance on the FireAttack™ Deluxe?

Before each use, check the engine oil, fuel system, and pump operation. Inspect the hoses, clamps, and fittings for wear or damage. Monthly, give the unit a more thorough inspection, and at least once a year, have the engine and pump professionally serviced to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

What is the effective reach of the hose when fighting fires?

The standard 36m hose provides excellent reach for most firefighting scenarios. The actual spray distance will vary depending on the nozzle setting, pump pressure, and terrain conditions. Conduct a test run in your operating environment to determine the optimal performance range.

How should I store the FireAttack™ Deluxe when not in use?

After use, drain the tank completely and flush it with clean water. Store the unit in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. Regular cleaning and inspection will help prevent algae build-up and extend the lifespan of the tank, pump, and hoses.
